Complaint to Nominet About TV Licensing Domain Name

Waiting for an internal review by British Broadcasting Corporation of their handling of this request.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

I am making this request in accordance with section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I recently read with great interest the fact that the BBC had filed a dispute with Nominet over the web domain name telivisionlicensing.co.uk

In accordance with section 1 of the Act, please provide all information held by the BBC in respect of this domain name, telivisionlicensing.co.uk

This includes, but is not limited to, any BBC letters, emails or handwritten notes that mention or relate to this domain name, telivisionlicensing.co.uk

I look forward to a timely and concise response, in accordance with the spirit of the Act.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Jones

Dear FOI Enquiries,

Thanks for the update, not withstanding its disappointing content.

The domain name "telivisionlicensing.co.uk" (sic) was mentioned in this web article, which is undoubtedly where I got the information from:
http://ipprotheinternet.com/ipprotheinte...

Still, if you've began considering "televisionlicensing.co.uk" then that's fine.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Jones

Dear FOI Enquiries,

You've had long enough to deal with my request for information, RFI20161318.
I've lost count of the number of days the BBC has been "dealing" with this.
Please conduct an internal review - you can take another 40 days to tell me that you can't conduct a review because you've not issued a response.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Jones

"We will deal with the review as promptly as possible and will endeavour to do so within 20 working days in accordance with the Information Commissioner’s guidance" - anyone see that pig flying by?

The BBC are a law unto themselves. They should be boycotted.

Dear FOI Enquiries,

Just so you're aware, I am still waiting for a response to RFI20161318.
It has been another month and true to form the BBC still has not provided a response.
I think we must be up to around 100 working days now since I made my request, just in case you have forgotten about it.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Jones

Dear FOI Enquiries,

Looking at my records it appears that I am still awaiting a substantive response to my request for information, RFI20161318.

I realise that compliance with the Act is not the BBC's strong point, but if you could please get a move on.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Jones
