Dear Home Office,
Please treat the following as a request for the disclosure of information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please disclose the number of ex-gratia payments made by the Home Office to claimants who are subject to a visit by immigration enforcement, where "Enforcement Officers visit an address where illegal immigrants are wrongly thought to be staying and cause unnecessary worry for the occupier" (as per the Home Office guidance available here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk...)
Please disclose the total number of payments of this type that have been made during 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 respectively and, if possible, the value of said payments.
Yours faithfully,
