John Hyde made this Freedom of Information request to Solicitors Regulation Authority

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was successful.

Dear Solicitors Regulation Authority,

How many claims have been made against the compensation fund in each of the last five years?

How many of those claims have been successful in each of the last five years?

What has been the biggest single payment from the compensation fund in each of the last five years?

How much has been paid out in total in each of the last five years from the fund?

What is expected to be the annual saving to the fund from the reforms announced on 27 July?

Yours faithfully,

John Hyde
