Dear Ministry of Justice,

I am writing to request the number of applications for compensation as a victim of a miscarriage of justice made under s.133 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 between the years 2000-2018. I would be obliged if you could also provide the number of successful applications.

Further, I ask if you could provide details of applications and successful applications made under the now-defunct ex gratia scheme run by the Home Secretary from 2000-2018. I am aware the scheme closed to new applicants in 2006, but I understand some were still being considered after that date and I do not know the date of the last payment.
