Compensation claims made for accidents in the workplace
Dear Health and Safety Executive,
I am researching compensation claims made for accidents at work in UK. Could you please provide the following information under the FOI act:
1) How many successful compensation claims have been made for accidents at work in England in the last 24 months?
2) What are the values of the successful compensation claims that have been made for accident at work in England in the last 24 months?
3) What industries have successful compensation claims for accidents at work been made in over the last 24 months in England?
4) What are the age and gender of the people that have made the successful compensation claims for accidents at work in England over the last 24 months?
5) What is the average duration of absence caused by accidents at work by industry? (the specific industries we would like information for are construction, education, hairdressing, manufacturing, police, quarries, railways, waste management, local government and catering and hospitality).
6) What volume of accident at work have resulted in fatalities in England over the last 24 months?
7) What volume of accidents at work are self-reported compared to those that are reported by the employer?
If any of the information I have requested is specific only to certain industries, the industries we would like to information for are Construction, Education, Hairdressing, Manufacturing, Police, Quarries, Railways, Waste Management, Local Government and Catering and Hospitality.
