Under freedom of information is it the mayor or the cheif finacial officer at the county council responsable for full disclosure in relation to the issuing of bonds / securties (including its precepts )

Under freedom of information why has the property i inhabit have a bond atached to it via the county council also bonds attached to council tax ref: numbers and business rate ref: numbers . and when was this disclosed to the public.

We have considered your request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act. Please find our response as follows:

1 Does Cambridge county council or any of its precepts hold a licence to trade securities if so On what date did cambridge county council or its precepts aqurie a licence to trade securites .

Cambridgeshire County Council does not trade securities and does not hold a licence to trade securities.

2 Under freedom of information is it the mayor or the cheif finacial officer at the county council responsable for full disclosure in relation to the issuing of bonds / securties (including its precepts )

The Mayor does not work at the County Council. The Council’s Chief Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Council prepares a yearly Statement of Accounts in compliance with accounting standards. These Statements are audited by an external company and are published on the Council’s website: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/counci...

The County Council has not issued any bonds attached to residents’ properties, nor has it issued any bonds attached to Council Tax or business rates reference numbers.

Helo david should i take that as NO COMMENT, i think we can all see whats going on here , damage control springs to mind , you are aware trading securities without license is criminal offence committed by every officer/ employee of said company .. thank you for your reply
