Dear Glasgow City Council,

Please provide details of number of vehicles registered with each private hire base in glasgow.
I believe this information is collated during license grants and bi annual tests.
IE/
pacific cars 80
hampden 800
network 600
uber 600
etc

Please also provide details of the number of grants of private hire licenses in process and the company the grant application is noted as registering with

Thank you for your reply in which you detail the following ...
" For the avoidance of doubt we would confirm that we do not
record any details of the company that the applicant proposes to work for if the
licence is granted."

I would appreciate further clarification based on paragrapgh 5 of this article which states
as follows ....
"In addition to eliminating unlicensed bases, the council has introduced a new licensing procedure under which any driver seeking a cab licence will have to specify his employer in advance. Both the DSS and police will have full access on a weekly basis to the records."
