Company cars
Dear Liverpool City Council,
In a recent FOI respons - http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/st... - you stated that the Council provides two company cars to officers. The details of these cars are :
Mercedes E350 4 door, value £41,465.38
BMW 530i M Sport 4 door, value £45,713.12
Please provide the job roles of the officers in receipt of this benefit ie the job roles of the officers who are entitled to drive these 'company' cars.

I confirm the Council holds the information you have requested.
In response the job roles of the officers who utilise the cars are the Chief Executive and the Director of Regeneration respectively"
So - in addition to their salaries, we provide these two officers with luxury cars. Is this value for money?

One or other of these may be the lord mayoral car. I believe that the council may still employ chaufers in which case the driver may be different to the user.
