Thank you for your e-mail received 04 March 2009 requesting information about the total grant allocated to community/voluntary organizations by the council each year between 1998 and 2009, and the amount each community organizations received within same period.
Janet Ryan in the Adult & Community Services Department will arrange for the information to be provided to you no later than 01/04/09.
Whilst it is the Council's policy to provide information wherever possible, I need to advise you that there are a number of exemptions under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. These may prevent me from releasing all or some of the information you have asked for. You will, however be informed if this is the case and why.

Please find attached a spreadsheet containing the information you require,
unfortunately we are only able to go back to 2001/02 as prior to that
financial year we used a different mainframe system.
