Thank you for your e-mail received 04 March 2009 requesting information about the total grant allocated to community/voluntary organizations by the council each year between 1998 and 2009, and the amount each community organizations received within same period.

Janet Ryan in the Adult & Community Services Department will arrange for the information to be provided to you no later than 01/04/09.

Whilst it is the Council's policy to provide information wherever possible, I need to advise you that there are a number of exemptions under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Your request for information about grant money allocated to
community/voluntary organizations has now been considered and the
information is enclosed.

“I am looking for information on how much total grant money was allocated
to community/voluntary organizations by your council each year between
1998 and 2009, and which community organizations received how much grant
money each year between 1998 and 2009.”

Please find attached a spreadsheet containing the information you require,
unfortunately we are only able to go back to 2001/02 as prior to that
financial year we used a different mainframe system.
