Community Work

Sandra Smith made this Freedom of Information request to Ministry of Justice

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Can you please provide me (for all years available) for each probation trust area:

- the number of individuals starting a community sentence
- the average community sentence length for community payback
- the number of individuals with a community payback (unpaid work) element to their sentence
- the total number of days sentenced
- the total number of days worked
- the total number of days "stood down" (i.e. cancelled for any reason)
- the total number of community payback requirements completed in full

Cost-permitting, I would also like to request a list for each probation trust area of those organisations who carry out / organise community payback on behalf of the probation trust. If this additional data is not held by MoJ/NOMS, you have my consent and I kindly request you transfer it to the agency or agencies who do hold or are likely to hold the data.

I would like the above in Excel format.

Yours faithfully,

Sandra Smith
