Dear T. Houghton
Thank you for your information request, submitted with Mid Ulster District
Council under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act) on 15/03/24 to
provide information regarding community venues.
The Council has considered your request and responds as detailed:
Q1. List of community venues owned by the Council that can be hired for
community use.
Response: Please refer to the information provided in the table below.
In relation to "Total venue income from bookings last financial year"
the Council confirms that it holds information on systems in relation to
income generated by venues, however for the majority of venues, this is
not specific to room bookings and includes other types of income
generated. Therefore the information you have requested cannot be
promptly extracted from financial information systems, the Council
therefore relies on Section 12 of the Act to confirm that the cost of
complying with your request would exceed the "appropriate limit" of £450
and is therefore withholding this information. If you wish to attempt to
refine this part of your request the Council will further consider your
enquiry.
In accordance with the Council's normal procedures I would advise you that
if we do not receive further correspondence from you within 40 workings
days from the date of this correspondence, the Council will consider this
request closed and will consider any further correspondence as an
independent request.
