Community Right to Challenge corporate arrangements

Havering Borough Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Sir/Madam,

What is the procedure for making an expression of interest under the Localism Act 2011, and where is it publicised on the corporate website? May I also be sent their contact details of the officer delegated with responsibility for overseeing expressions of interest in utilising the community right to challenge?

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Jed Keenan

Hello Mrs Jarman,

Thanks for forwarding a response from somebody, it does not state who, stating the information requested is not available because it is 'still being developed'.

The Act is from 2011 and became law in June 2012 but the reply does not state when the process of developing the procedures for providing this service, this statutory duty, is scheduled to be completed. Is this in error or is this the state of play within Havering LBC's Legal & Democratic Services?

Yours sincerely,

Mr Jed Keenan
