Community Grant Aid Budget

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Abingdon Town Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Abingdon Town Council,

What is the Council's Community Grant Aid budget for financial year
2015/16? Has the relevant committee proposed a Grant Aid budget for
financial year 2016/17 and if so, how much is it?

How many households in Abingdon pay council tax?

Yours faithfully,

Simon Clarke

Enquiries, Abingdon Town Council

Dear Simon,

Heather Brown who does the administration on the town’s grants will not be
in the office until 11^th January. In the meantime, the Minutes of Finance
and General Purposes Committee which are published on the website should
be useful.

The 2011 Census information gives detail on households and the number of
households has increased by 6% in the ten years to 2011. Council tax, who
pays, numbers of households with one person etc. is within the remit of
District Council.

Please give an address when asking for information.

Yours sincerely,

Lorraine
