Freedom of Information Kent,

Dear Mr Gadd,

You made a Freedom of Information request to Kent Police on 21 January
2020 concerning Communications with other parties.

Normally a public authority must respond to an applicant within 20 working
days as per Section 10(1) FOIA, however in certain circumstances this time
limit may be extended in order to consider the public interest as per
Section 10(3) FOIA.

In this case we are considering if Section 31 Law enforcement may be
engaged, and we are presently determining where the public interest lies
in relation to this. The process may take up to a further 20 working days,
however we shall endeavour to provide a response as soon as practicably
possible.

Yours sincerely,
