Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Health and Social Care's handling of my FOI request 'Communications from/on behalf of Ministers'.

You have calculated that gathering this information will exceed the cost limit, but I believe that this is an overestimation of the resource required.

Outlook has methods integrated to extract lists from folders into Excel readable CSV files. This can include the date an email was sent and a listing of the contacts in the to and cc lines of the email. This would significantly reduce the number of emails that would need to be reviewed.

Details of how to export the Excel CSV summaries can be found online at https://www.lifewire.com/export-emails-f... (scroll to Export Outlook Emails to Microsoft Excel) or https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/e...

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

I look forward to receiving a response following your review of this case.

Yours faithfully,

Benjamin Davidson
