I am responding to your email request dated 16 June 2021 under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. In your request, you ask for information in respect of Lauriston Castle Trust, SC020737.

Your request
Please provide copies of all communications (notes of telephone conversations, emails etc) between the City of Edinburgh Council/Trustees of Lauriston Castle Trust and The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) in relation to the Lauriston Castle Trust.

Our response
I am refusing this request under FOISA section 14 (2) Vexatious or Repeated requests.

This is because you have submitted an identical FOI request (our ref IM/QRY/21-2255) asking for the same information in respect of Edinburgh City Council’s Charitable Trusts, under which Lauriston Castle Trust falls. Any information falling within the scope of this current request is dealt with in our response under our ref IM/QRY/21-2255.

Your right to request a review
You have the right to ask us to review our decision in respect of release of information under FOISA. Your request for review should be made within 40 working days of receipt of this letter and we will reply within 20 working days of receipt of that request.
