Communications between Bristol City Council and the LGA

The request was successful.

Dear Local Government Association,

Please provide any communications between the LGA and the mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees, or the mayor's assistant at Bristol City Council, between September 2021 and May 30 2022.

If that leads to too many emails, you may filter for those communications that include the phrase "city regions".

Please check drafts and trash in relation to emails, and include attachments.

Let me know if you need the request refined further.

Yours faithfully,

Joanna Booth

Dear FOI and DPA,

Thank you for your help and request for clarification.

1) I'd like to limit the dates to just February 2022, please. Would that be sufficient?
2) would you let me know how many emails there have been, using the filter, 'city regions' for each of the months between September 21 and May 22 ? I don't need to see the emails, I would just like to know the numbers.

Yours sincerely,

Joanna Booth

Dear FOI and DPA,

You have not replied to my latest clarification. Would you please provide the answer if the new requests are feasible?

Dear FOI and DPA,

Thank you for your work on this FOI.
I must ask you, however, to reconsider your redactions. You have blocked out en masse all the subjects being emailed to and who have sent emails. The only parts that should be redacted, in the name of transparency accountability and scrutiny, are the identifiable parts. The email handle before the '@' should be redacted, I agree. The part of the email address that does not relate to the individual should be visible. This shows the broader organisation rather than the individual.

Please let me know if you will reconsider.

Yours sincerely,

Joanna Booth
