Communication on human rights of the learning disabled and disabled people self representing at tribunal
Dear Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission,
1.How many self litigants within the Ni Employment Tribunals have asked your offices for help in the past 10 years.
2.what help have you given each and every one of them
3.If you refused specific help ( you have signposted, which is NOT help) on what grounds did you refuse it and based on what arguments and evidence , what sources from your remit/ policies do you rely on for allowing this dereliction of duty
4.Do you see yourselves as not having a remit to help those within the NI employment tribunal who are having their human rights violated (as well as disability rights and employment rights, and which text, sources, documents do you base that on?
5. You have been asked for help from the learning disabled/ their carers community in Ni re various issues regarding abuse of the human rights of the learning disabled by Trusts, such as emotional abuse, financial abuse, and abuse of rights of carers and articles relating to freedom of movement and right to not be degraded.
You refuse to act on this topic as well ie you refuse to advocate or take legal action for/ with families.
Please outline all your reasoning and sources for arguments to not help.
b) who are your priorities re helping in terms of 'victim groups' types in NI, show documentary evidence.
6.For all of the above, please provide all emails, letters, meetings minutes, between all NIHRC staff, and between NIHRC staff and other Gov Bodies or charities or individuals, re decision making to say no to help re the self litigants and the learning disabled.
7.who made the final decision not to help these 2 client groups and one what grounds, using what policy from NIHRC.
8.What work has NIHRC done in the past 10 years to target the abuse meted out to the above 2 client groups.
9.Do complainants have the right to approach your Board at any time re any complaints against NIHRC staff/ decision making?

10. Do you have any limitations put upon you by the Ni Executive re not helping any client groups or not challenging any Gov Bodies, agreements verbal or in writing, if in writing please provide any and all agreements.
