Communication between the ACDP and the Dept. of Health and Social with regards to COV19

Currently waiting for a response from Department of Health and Social Care, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Following a previously successful FOIR to you with regards to obtaining the minutes of the ACDP meeting on the 13th March 2020. I raised another FOIR with you on the 27th June 2020 as follows;

"At the meeting of the ACDP on 13th March, it was agreed that the threat of the coronavirus be downgraded. The chair, Thomas Evans, was tasked with informing the DHSC. I would like a copy of the communique he sent, and any relevant response by the DHSC. I attach the minutes."

I received an acknowledgement of my request from you at 12:58.

Not only have I received no response to this request, but it appears to have disappeared altogether.

Please can you respond to my request as soon as possible, and perhaps tell me what happened to the original. I would hope to get a reply from you by the end of July.

Yours faithfully,

John Aspray

Dear FreedomofInformation,

As you say that you do not hold any record of the information I requested, I have emailed the secretariat of the ACDP asking them for a copy of the communique sent to the DHSC by Prof. Tom Evans. To date I have not received a response. Perhaps the DHSC could ask the ACDP for the information.

The email addresses are [email address], [email address]

I have not attempted to contact Prof. Evans directly, but will do so if need be, along with all the other members of the ACDP. I will also copy in the members of the APPG on Coronvirus.

Yours sincerely,

John Aspray
