Spider UK supplied approximately 550 x 3200 litre communal refuse bins in 2009.

Brighton & Hove City Council use Egbert Taylor to carry out refurbishments, approximately 100 have been completed since the introduction of communal bins. Many of the recycling bring sites have also been refurbished.
The council also employs a crew who as part of their duties repair and refurbish communal bins.
A wider refurbishment and replacement program is expected to take place next year.
