Dear Independent Police Complaints Commission,

May I please have sight of all invoices received from/paid to the charity, Common Purpose, and/or details of monies reimbursed to employees directly for expenditures covering Common Purpose membership and/or educational programmes for the years 2009 to 2015 inclusive.

Please indicate the total number of employees who have received Common Purpose training, and the number of employees who are members of this organisation.

Please advise the total number of employees working for your organisation.

Dear Phil Johnston,

Can you please tell me which organisation pays the invoices for Common Purpose Training, and the designation of the one person whom you say has had Common Purpose training.

Yours sincerely,

Jean James

!FOI Requests,

Dear Ms James,

Thank you for your email of 3 February 2016.

The invoice relating to the training in 2007 was paid by the IPCC.

I would be grateful if you would clarify what you mean by the 'designation' of the person who received the training, for example, do you mean 'job title'.

Yours sincerely

Independent Police Complaints Commission

Dear !FOI Requests,

I realise the ONE invoice was paid for by the IPCC. What I am asking is whether or not any other organisation may have paid for training of IPCC personnel.

Designation: the job title of the person

Thank you.

Seems to be a bit if shuffling going on here?

I wonder if it might be helpful if IPCC employees realised that they are in our public service and being paid by us?

Dear Independent Police Complaints Commission,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Independent Police Complaints Commission's handling of my FOI request 'Common Purpose Training and Membership 2009-2015'.

[ My request for clarification has been ignored. ]

In view of the latest response from IPCC, perhaps I can suggest that it certainly is not'a personal matter', if one of its employees has received Common Purpose training paid for by another person/organisation.. since IPCC staff must be publicly accountable.

Also, It would be helpful to prospective readers, if IPCC responses were not sent for publication on their sides.. since most of us were not 'born on the side of a hill' and therefore only read such missives with difficulty.

Dear Gemma Thomas,

I simply have no idea what your response means. Also it is posted sideways.

If you are trying to say that a response was published elswhere, then please cut and paste it here, where it is supposed to be. Can I ask that you rewrite your response properly please?

Yours sincerely,

Jean James

Dear Gemma Thomas,

Thank you.

Do you think you might be able to ask someone to show you how to turn scans the right way up please, so that people don't have to turn sideways to read your attachments?

Yours sincerely,

Jean James
