RESPONSE

 

There is one amount paid to Common Purpose in 2010. This amounted to
£2,937.50 training course (inclusive of VAT).

 

Please note the officers names are exempt as it amounts to Personal Data,
as defined Section 1 Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). Public authorities
are not obliged to release personal data in response to requests under the
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) because Section 40 FOIA defines personal
data as exempt information. In this case specifically at Section 40(2),
which refers to the personal data of third parties. We are therefore
unable to release this information to you.

 

I hope that this answers your enquiry. If you believe that the County
Council has not complied with the FOI Act in responding to your request,

3. We have since ascertained that the position of the member of staff who
undertook the training was an Assistant Director in Children's Services.
We are therefore able to release the member of staff's name to you. The
name of the member of staff who undertook this training was Alison
Jeffrey.
