Common law and constables oath
Dear Lancashire Constabulary,
As the United Kingdom of great Britain is a common law jurisdiction, is it true that constables swear an oath to uphold the law, therein meaning the 'common law' of the land of great Britain, as opposed to corporate rules or statutes?
Yours faithfully,
Kirsty Eccles

Dear Lancashire Constabulary,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Lancashire Constabulary's handling of my FOI request 'Common law and constables oath'.
My request was quite a simple one....
"As the United Kingdom of great Britain is a common law jurisdiction, is it true that constables swear an oath to uphold the law, therein meaning the 'common law' of the land of great Britain, as opposed to corporate rules or statutes?"
Yet all you responded with is a copy of the police oath which mentions the "law" but not which law.
Is it Common law or Statute law?
It really is a simple question and as a member of the public I have a right to know.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...
Yours faithfully,
Kirsty Eccles

Like lots of FOI requests i have seen, the man/woman does not give there name when signing a document online, they sign it with a department, more legalese". As this FOI request is signed compliance team, they obviously have something to hide".
You might like to watch this link, it gives a insiders view of the corruption in courts hidden text language to entrap law abiding people. >>> https://youtu.be/zpVwMECc-OM
Just to let you know you cant take a department to court, it has to be a man or woman with a name, hence why they sign with a department name".
Dear Information assurance unit,
You are late with your response...again.
Please reply immediately.
Yours sincerely,
Kirsty Eccles

Dear FOI,
Nine months this FOI request has been ongoing and yet you still refuse to provide me with the section of the oath where police swear to uphold both common and statute law as stated in your reply.
Could it be that it doesn't exist?
I have today passed this file to the ICO who will contact lancon in due course and publish their findings.
Yours sincerely,
Kirsty Eccles

No UK police constable has a Disclosure and Barring service check prior to employing them [conflict of interest in any case]. UK police have in-house checks, another conflict of interests. Any man/woman who works with vulnerable people is subject to DBS checks, will be vetted for criminal records and can be barred from working with working with vulnerable people, but UK police will employ any man or woman". If a man/woman is found to of committed a crime against a vulnerable man/woman or child, it is common knowledge for there details to be advertised in local papers. Police constables details of offences are rarely advertised, we have a two tier of law system going on in the UK and this needs to stop". All UK police constabularies are also using legalese to entrap people, it's part of there training, they don't use Common Law, just Statutes/Acts of parliament which is not lawful..... Lancashire Police are also registered as a business, just like every police constabulary >> https://companycheck.co.uk/nonLimitedCom....
