Dear South Lanarkshire Council,
I would like information relating to the common close painting programme under a freedom of information request. Specifically within the East Kilbride area.

In the last 20years how many Council factored properties have had the common close painted in full?

Please state all dates of completion and addresses where this has been carried out.

What is the planned schedule of works for properties to have this undertaken during the 20/21 financial year? Ie how many blocks and addresses and dates planned to be done or already completed.

In all instances where common close painting has been completed please advise the cost per household.

What is the council as factors routine maintenance cycle to carry out these renewal works? Ie every 5 years etc.

As south lanarkshire council is common factor it is their responsibility under the property factors Scotland act to complete the maintenance on common areas. So it is expected that there is a maintenance schedule in place to adhere to this.

Yours faithfully,

gemma campbell
