We are writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. We outline our query as specifically as possible below.
We wish to better understand your organisations service provision in relation
to commercial waste (Trade Waste). In particular those services offered by
your organisation which encompass the collection and subsequent disposal
of:
a) General waste (Landfill or ERF)
b) Source segregated or mixed recycling
c) Hazardous Waste
d) Clinical or potentially infectious waste fractions collected from selfmedicating
residents.
For each of the above criteria I we would ask for the following information:
a) Whether your organisation offers a commercial waste service to
businesses?
b) What is your organisation’s annual revenue from the service?
c) What is your organisation’s annual cost for disposal?
d) What is your organisation’s annual internal management
(administration) cost for the provision of the service?
e) Is the service provision operated internally or via an externally procured
service provider (i.e. is collection and disposal conducted by your
organisations staff or that of a contractor).
f) If externally procured, then name of the current contractor.
g) Do you operate software-based communication between the
commercial businesses, contractors or your organisation?
