COMAH Sites GIS

The request was successful.

Dear Health and Safety Executive,

Would it be possible for you to provide Top and Lower Tier COMAH sites for England and Wales as a GIS compatible file, (i.e. file geo database or shapefile) as well as a list?

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Sophie,

Thank you for your request, copied below. Please find attached your
requested information on Upper and Lower Tier COMAH Establishments in
England and Wales. This information has been supplied in accordance with
our Security Services guidance on release.

We don’t hold the GIS compatible or geo database or shapefiles you seek.
The postcode has been supplied by the Operator. Mapping information can be
derived from the postcode supplied. If this is not precise enough I
suggest you contact each of the Planning Departments of the Local
Authorities identified for their records on the matter.

The HSE webpages now contain a search function for COMAH establishments.
This function is intended to provide more information to the public
regarding the establishments in their surrounding area.
