Road Safety Casualty Dashboard
The dashboard is an interactive spreadsheet which enables users to explore
our data, and generate their own statistics, based on factors of
particular interest that you select. Guidance is provided on the first
worksheet to help you fully engage with the filters available, such as the
manual selection for casualty age. The Dashboard can be downloaded using
the following link, in a zip file under 2015:

Published Statistics and Articles
You may find the answer to your enquiry in our latest publications and
data tables available via:

If you have received a call from a company claiming that you were in an
accident
We are aware that a number of claims management companies ‘cold call’
people saying that they have records that you were in an accident. In many
cases they claim to have got your information from the national road
accident database or a governmental body. This is not correct. There is no
national database of accidents with names, telephone numbers and
addresses. Neither the Department for Transport nor any other government
department hold any of this information and would not supply it to anyone
under any circumstances.
It is likely that the claims management company has simply dialled your
number randomly. If you are able to get any contact details from them you
can report them through
[11]https://www.gov.uk/complain-about-claims....
If you do find your answer, we would really appreciate a quick email to
tell us this.
Kind regards

Dear Department for Transport,
Thank you again for your response.
I wonder if you could clarify for me whether your answer to Q3 also includes collisions where contributory factors were attributed to the cyclist, and/or the pedestrian was injured, please?
Yours faithfully,
Cherry Allan
Dear Cherry,
The answer to question 3 includes all cases where there was a pedal cycle
causality and a pedestrian was involved whether injured or not. Where the
contributory factor(s) are applied to the cyclist they are included
provided the above is true.
