College site and historic ownership

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Stockport Borough Council,

We would like to request copies of all documents relating to the historic ownership of the land presently occupied by the Cheadle and Marple Hibbert Lane Campus site and the adjoining green and car park (if they are owned separately).

We are specifically seeking documents relating to the chain of events that resulted in ownership of this land by the council and subsequent transfer of ownership to the college, if the land was purchased or gifted, by whom, when and under what circumstances.

We also request copies of any covenants relating to the sale or transfer of the land and any restrictions on the use of the land or parts of it.

Yours faithfully,

Neil Corrie
