Collapsing toxic waste dump school, unpopular with parents, children and teachers - more so now!

Sheila Oliver made this Freedom of Information request to Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

Waiting for an internal review by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council of their handling of this request.

Dear Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council,

For the Council to have re-opened the toxic waste dump primary school just one day after the ceiling collapse, you must know and publish the root cause of the ceiling collapse. Please let me have these details.

If you continue to assert my questioning on this matter is vexatious, I shall be pushing the Information Commission Chief Executive for a criminal prosecution against you.

Yours faithfully,

FOI Officer, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council

Dear Mrs Oliver,

I am writing in response to your request for information below (Ref 5108).

As you have previously been informed, your requests for information about
the school at Harcourt Street (Vale View Primary School) are considered to
be vexatious under section 14(1) Freedom of Information Act 2000 and
manifestly unreasonable under Regulation 12(4)(b) Environmental
Information Regulations 2004 and will not receive a response. This
decision has been through the Council’s internal review process and was
upheld. It has also been investigated by the Information Commissioner’s
Office at your request, on two occasions; the ICO upheld the Council’s
decision in both its Decision Notices.

Yours sincerely,

Dear FOI Officer,

I believe the excellent local MP for the area has asked that the Council respond to questions regarding this disgusting misuse of public money and danger to young children. There must be such a lot that needs to be covered up regarding this development.

Yours sincerely,

Sheila Oliver

Mrs Oliver, Maybe this MP could ask questions ref the recent ceiling collapse, eg
1. Were the HSE notified.
2.Who took the decision to reopen the school 24 later

Dear Mr Dransfield

The local MP, Andrew Gwynne, has campaigned long and hard against this school. He is a decent man concerned about the welfare of his constituents. I am sure he will be asking these questions.

My MP, Andrew Stunell, saw nothing wrong with any of this - the sececy, the financial irregularities, the ignoring of the contamination, the planning abuses committed to get it passed. Thank goodness we have MPs of the calibre and integrity of Mr. Gwynne.
