2017. We have provided a response to your question below.

Does The Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester, collaborate with new
international museums in order to spread knowledge by exchanging, or by
sharing or by long-term leasing the specimens or collectables with new
international museums?

All of the Science Museum Group museums are open to approaches about
collaborating with established and new museums. One of the Group’s  key
goals is to extend our international reach, as outlined in the document,
[1]Inspiring Futures: strategic priorities 2017-2030. Items from the
collection are frequently loaned to overseas organisations on various
terms, but we do not currently have any collections leasing arrangements.
Further information on working with the Science Museum Group can be found

Our touring exhibitions extend the reach of the Science Museum Groups
