Coastal Revival Fund reports on Clifton Baths, Margate

The request was successful.

Dear Thanet District Council,

A successful bid was made by Thanet District Council to the government administered Coastal Revival Fund. The application was for research regarding the Grade II listed Clifton Baths, Margate, also known as the Cliftonville Lido. This resulted in a £44,000 award in March 2019. The funding was used to carry out an options study at the historic, Grade II listed site with a view to undertaking a GPS site survey and clearance work.

Please provide/make publicly available the 4 reports commissioned with this funding:

1. Structural engineer report
2. In-depth report by Canterbury Archaeological Society
3. Laser scan
4. Extensive photographic record

Yours faithfully,

Louise Oldfield
