Dear Ms Caple

Thank you for your request for information received on 8 March 2021 and
apologies for the delayed response.

We would be grateful if you could clarify the nature of Councillor Brook's
involvement with Stoke Lodge playing fields. Councillors are not covered
by the Freedom of Information Act 2000/Environmental Information
Regulations 2004 and therefore we do not in the first instance tend to
contact them in order to run searches. The exception to the above is if
the Councillor was performing functions on behalf of the Council, so in
general this will relate to the performance of Committee related work. If
you are able to clarify, then this will assist us in ensuring that we are
able to locate all of the information held that falls within the remit of
this request.

Yours faithfully

Dear Bristol City Council,

I am aware from other correspondence that Cotham School and its supporters have asked Cllr Brook to intervene on their behalf in relation to this matter; Cllr Brook has made multiple statements on social media that indicate he is supporting the school (which is based in his ward) therefore the information would help to determine the nature and impact of his involvement.

I would also like to bring to your attention a request for information from Cheri Boucher in June 2019:

"Please can you provide me with information concerning the following:
All emails, correspondence, and meeting notes from councillors Mark Weston, Peter Abrahams and John Goulandris and also Darren Jones MP from 1st May 2018 to present date referencing Stoke Lodge Playing Field. Also please include any emails, communications and meeting notes with and to Education Services, Legal Services, Commons Registration Authority, Planning Department and Parks from the aforementioned councillors/MP. This is priority 1.

The second ask is for the same as the above (in terms of councillors/MP, and their correspondence regarding and to) but for a different time frame of 2010 to May 2018."

This was delayed but answered without question or reason.

I look forward to your response.
