Cllr Kushner, Daniel Hughes & MP Ian Byrne at the Hope Street Hotel?

Harry Kays made this Freedom of Information request to Liverpool City Council This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Liverpool City Council,

Daniel Hughes Founder & Managing Director at This Generation

Daniel Hughes hosted the Liverpool business priorities talk at the Hope Street Hotel
with Maria Breslin, Councillor Barry Kushner and Ian Byrne MP. It was great to get an insight into the views, plans and vision for the future of our amazing city.

1]- Did the Liverpool City Council foot any bill towards [Cllr Barry Kushner] attending this business meeting at the Hope Street Hotel?

2]- Was Cllr Barry Kushner there on business acting for the Liverpool City Council?
Was Cllr Barry Kushner made aware of Daniel Hughes past dealing with the disgraced development site known as: Fox Street Village in Everton?

3] - Was Cllr Barry Kushner not told that Daniel Hughes was called Hughes PR on Fox Street Village ltd, and he was also known to MP Ian Byrne who was at the time a Cllr in the Everton ward and had refused to investigate Hughes PR and Fox Street Village over the dangerous fire risk?

Will the Liverpool city council try to explain as to why Cllr Barry Kushner would be invited to this business meeting as Daniel Hughes is not a businessman?

4] - Has our Liverpool city council paid any funds or payments towards this event at the ‘Hope Street Hotel.

5]- Will the Liverpool city council supply all logs and records of all meeting either in the Cunard building with a number of meetings with, Cllr Barry Kushner and Derick Hatton?

6] - Will the Liverpool city council ask Cllr Barry Kushner the reason he goes to the home of Derek Hatton is this on behalf of the Liverpool city council business?

Yours faithfully,
Mr. Harry Kays
