Mr Todd

Thank you for your request for information. As it stands, your request is
extremely broad and it would be helpful if you were able to specify a time
frame if possible.

I would suggest possibly starting with a twelve month period if that would
be agreeable to you but, of course, if there is a specific time period you
had in mind, please let me know.

Dear Kate Symington,

Thank you for your reply. I feared that the work involved may be considerable such is the nature of the issue and I accept the suggestion that we initially focus on a twelve month period.

I will seek advice from fellow East Devon Association steering group members as to which period might be the most appropriate as a start and reply to you as soon as I have some guidance.

Your early request for clarification is appreciated.

Yours sincerely,

tim todd

Dear Mr Todd,

Thank you for your recent request for information

Your request includes information which is being collated as part of a potential evidence bundle to be passed to Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and which may therefore form part of a possible criminal investigation. As such, the information is exempt from disclosure under s30(1) ? Criminal Investigations and Proceedings.

There is a clear public interest in ensuring that these allegations against a former EDDC Councillor are properly investigated by those qualified to do so and I hope that you will therefore understand the importance of ensuring that we do not disclose any information at this stage which could potentially prejudice this investigation.

I am sorry that I cannot comply with your request at the current time but hope you will understand the reasons for this.

My response is in line with the advice of our Monitoring Officer and you may also approach the Information Commissioner for advice at www.ico.gov.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
