Clinical System Usage

Marc Cousins made this Freedom of Information request to Salford Primary Care Trust (PCT)

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Salford Primary Care Trust (PCT),

Under the F.O.I. Act please could you tell me which clinical systems are used by each of your GP practices i.e. which practices are using TPP SystmOne, which are using iSoft Synergy, which are using EMIS or which are using INPS Vision as their clinical systems.

I will not make the data public. I intend to inform them of a new, potentially integrated product to help improve patient care.

Yours faithfully,

Marc Cousins

Freedom of Information,

Hi Marc

Your request has been forwarded to the relevant person at the trust. However we require further clarity from yourself. Please can you confirm if you require a list of individual GP practices names as well as the clinical system name; for example John Smith's Surgery, INPS?

Thanks and Regards
IG and FOI Team

Dear Freedom of Information,

Hi Thanks for your response. It would be really useful to know which practices use which systems. As you suggest John Smith's Surgery, INPS would be perfect. Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Marc Cousins

Dear Freedom of Information,

Thanks for your request for Clarification. It would be really useful if you could provide practice name and clinical system as per the example you give John Smith's Surgery - INPS Vision. I look forward to receiving your response.

Yours sincerely,

Marc Cousins

Dear Salford Primary Care Trust (PCT),

I was wondering if there had been any further progress on my FOI request which was made on 8th November. Even though you asked for clarification on 11th November this is still well overdue ar you should have responded by the 5th December. I look forward to receiving your reply.

Yours faithfully,

Marc Cousins
