Dear Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy,

It is known that the dinosaurs contributed to climate change through overconsumption and the gasses produced as a result. However, it is widely acknowledged that their mass reduction in population was as the result of the impact of a meteorite on the earth.

Does the government expect any severe impact on human and other species of "man-made climate change" by 16 March 2880, which is the date there is a chance of a asteroid hitting earth?

Put another way; is the government more concerned about destruction of life on earth by asteroid 1950DA or human behaviour resulting in climate change?

Yours faithfully,

Jonathan Bishop
