Theresa Smith made this Freedom of Information request to Transport for London

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Transport for London,

Hope you can help me with some the information i like to know.

Do cleaners that work in London buses have a recognised union? I'm presuming they don't?

Who are the cleaning contractors working in London buses? I presume they are outsourced by bus operators?

I am aware bus drivers union is Unite. But having ask cleaners they have said they don't have a recognised union.

I am aware Cordant and Nationwide are cleaning companies but are you aware of any other? Which ones have union recognition agreement?

Are all cleaners working in TfL's London buses receiving above London living wage?

Would appreciate a response i am not worried about time frame so please take your time.

Thanks very much.

Yours faithfully,

Theresa Smith
