I am writing in response to your request for information under the terms
of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, Ref No EIR/18/005.

You requested details of communications from Chorley Council to Lancashire
County Council in regards to the odours emanating from Clayton Hall
Landfill site. If full content cannot be provided dates and recipient
names / department would be appreciated. Specifically from 1st November
2017 to 10th January 2018

According to Chorley Council’s records an email (dated 03 January 2018)
was forwarded by Chorley Council’s Regulatory Services Department to
Lancashire County Council’s Senior Public Health Practitioner and Chorley
Council subsequently received a response on 03 January 2018.

I can also confirm that telephone conversations may well have taken place
between Chorley Council and Lancashire County Council but Chorley Council
do not record any telephone conversations.

I hope the information provided here answers your enquiry.  If however,
you are unhappy with the outcome, or the way in which Chorley Council has
handled your request, you may wish to make an appeal.  This can be done in
writing to the Information Manager, Chorley Council, Civic Offices, Union
