Class 142 'Pacer' trains

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Transport

I would like to see any studies, research or other facts or information known to the DfT, or any reports written by, or obtained by the DfT regarding the rail-worthiness and general safety of the class 142 Pacer train.

Have the DfT made any recommendations to the train operating companies regarding the usage of class 142 Pacer trains? If so could I have a copy of all such guidance.

Do the DfT hold any figures regarding maximum passenger capacity of a 142 Pacer train?

Yours sincerely

Ben Sloan
