The History
Last year Liverpool council agreed to sell a piece of land near to the Baltic Triangle to property developer the Elliot Group.

The Flat Iron, at St James Place near the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool 8.

The council cabinet delegated authority to Director of Regeneration, Nick Kavanagh, to enter negotiations regarding terms, contract and disposal of land in relation to a proposed regeneration project in the area.

1/ Please supply all information as to why and how, Claire Slinger of the Liverpool City Council, and assistant director of investment &development & of regeneration, development& planning, give advice on the sale price to the Elliot Group?

2/ What records do the council hold on the fair value of the land in question, and what price did Claire Slinger recommend to the Elliot Group to buy it from the council?

3/ Claire Slinger is an adviser also to Tony Reeves CEO Liverpool City Council, did he approve this sale and propose the sale of this land to the Elliot group.

4/ Did Claire Slinger engage the services of Hill Dickerson or advise the Elliot group to hire Hill Dickerson with this sale?

5/ Has Claire Slinger ever been on any overseas appointments of behalf of the Liverpool City council?

6/ Has Claire Slinger ever been to the Sir Thomas Hotel for or on behalf of the Liverpool City Council?

7/ Has Claire Slinger ever acted for any developers while working for the Liverpool City Council?

8/ Did Nick Kavanagh tell Claire Slinger to act and deal with the Elliot group to sell them (Elliot) the land?

9/ What was the asking price of the land put forward to the Elliot Group?
