Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
In a response by DWP to a Freedom of Information request to DWP, dated 2nd May 2015, with regard to Consent, the DWP gave a comprehensive summation of its then active procedural policy position, guidance and advice.
The question was asked:
“Please disclose you’re current or past (archive/unpublished) information or guidance held on the topic of: Consent.”
In the light of the recently enacted General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, which received Royal Consent on 23rd May 2018, my question is;
Does the new legislation referred to above invalidate the response, or any part of it, given in answer to the request for information of 2nd May 2015 or, does the new legislation referred to above require the previous response, or any part of it, to be reviewed, up-dated or modified in any way?
Please let me have the details, or links to where such details may be accessed, of where any such reviews, up-dates, and/or modifications are required or necessary, and what those up-dates, and/or modifications are.
Please let me have the details, or links to where such details may be accessed, of any additional guidance or advice issued to up-date DWP/JCP staff of their responsibilities and obligations with regard to and under the new legislation referred to above, and what previously issued guidance and advice they may disregard.
