CLAE staff authorisation

Dear Local Government Ombudsmen,
On the 19th March 2008 Tony Redmond signed a formal declaration authorising Commission staff to perform functions on his behalf. This came in force on the 1st April 2008.
Therefore, now Tony Redmond has retired, I would like any and all information on how CLAE staff are now being authorised to carry out functions on his behalf, who gave the authority and when was it given.

I am well aware that Mr Redmond has retired. I am sorry my FOI request confused you.
Who is authorising CLAE Staff to carry out the functions of an Ombudsman/CLAE chair now Tony Redmond has retired and has not yet been replaced. From whom do they now derive their powers and when were they given the authorisation.
