Cladding Test Results For 130 Gosterwood Street, SE8 5NY Owned By Housing for Women Housing Association

London Fire Brigade did not have the information requested.

Dear London Fire Commissioner (London Fire Brigade),

I am writing to make a request for all the information I am entitled to under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please could you send me the results of the survey and test of cladding and results for the tests of framework behind the cladding for the above address which is owned by Housing for Women Housing Association who commissioned the test and survey.
According to our landlord in a letter dated 16/02/2018 to all residents, the contractor testing samples and framework behind various areas would be a contractor named AD Construction Group, overseen by consultancy FFT. However, we believe the company that actually tested the cladding was Apest Environmental Ltd. Our landlord informed us that we would be informed of the results in summary, however they have failed to update us and notify us of the results despite requesting this information and being entitled to it as their tenants. Please confirm who tested the cladding?

Please could you confirm when you received the results of these tests, before or after LFB issued an enforcement notice on 23/03/2018 (Supersedes Job No:1807638)?

Please could you provide details if the cladding was inspected and investigated by LFB during their fire risk assessment on 14/09/2017 and after our building had a fire on 15/09/2017 which was due to the compartmentation between the floors being breached because it either didn’t surround the ducting right, or depending on the ducting, there were no dampers inside.

Please confirm who signed off the works from LFB for our building and what date and whether this person viewed the test results of the cladding before or after signing off the works despite our building still being unsafe and our landlord still continuing with non compliance?

Please provide details of the type of cladding, what it is made of and the manufacturer.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Ms Presley
