The request was partially successful.

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Please provide:

2) the CJS Autism Group's primary goals and role,

3) the composition of the CJS Autism Group, indicating any member that identifies himself or herself as autistic,

4) the annual funding the CJS Autism Group receives and where does this funding come from,

5) the minutes of the last three meetings and the agenda for the next meeting of the CJS Autism Group,

6) any other information you hold about the proposed autism marker on the Police National Computer (PNC), and

7) a list of FoIA requests made related to this group.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

Thank you to Ms Smith for her detailed response.

I am writing to request an internal review of Ministry of Justice's handling of my FOI request 'CJS Autism Group'.

a) In response to the question 3) about the composition of the CJS Autism Group, as you do not identify the individual members can you please at least give the number of representatives from each the listed organisations, and in particular the number of autistic self-advocates, the number of any non-autistic self-advocates, the number of non-autistic 'self-advocate carers' (don't you mean 'advocate carers' instead?) and, if any, the number of autistic 'self-advocate carers'. Please give the overall number of individual members of this group.

b) In her response, Ms Smith 'confirm[s] that this department does not hold that information' about the proposed autism marker on the Police National Computer (PNC) (answer to question 6).

However, Agenda for item 8d of the PNC Names Group meeting of 2015-03-05 on the subject of ‘Flag & Information Locate on PNC for Autistic Spectrum Disorders’ includes the following: '1.8 Initial consultation has taken place via the cross CJS Autism Group and CC Cole has now been expressly asked to pursue this action. [...]'

How come you do not hold information about the proposed autism marker on the PNC when your department conducted an initial consultation on this topic?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

David Mery
