Brian Mottershead,

Dear Sir,

Further to your recent request made under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act regarding civil contingency planning, the response from
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) is as follows:

1)      Does your department work with local councils to help them to plan
for Civil contingencies?

NWFRS works with a number of organisations, including councils, as part of
the North Wales Local Resilience Forum (NWLRF).

2)      If so how much money was allocated to this?

The financial contribution to NWLRF made by NWFRS during the current
Financial Year was £9,634.96

3) Which councils \ other organisations do you work with?

This information is exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information
Act as it is already in the public domain on the NWLRF web site here -
[1]http://www.nwlrf.org.uk/default.aspx?pag....

4) Would the minutes of these meetings be refused under the FoI act?

Minutes of NWLRF meetings are not held by NWFRS and, therefore, any
request made to NWFRS for those minutes would be refused on that basis.
