Dear Christchurch Town Council,

The Christchurch Town Council (CTC) Full Council (FC) meeting on 13March2003 contains Agenda Item 11 and this appears in the Minutes as item 359. These refer to the "Civic Handbook".

This present submitter attended the CTC.FC, and, although not precisely minuted, the Mayor said that the update to this was ongoing and soon should be finished. No Councillors made any comment, so indicating they were fully aware of this document. Despite a recent update to the CTC website, no mention of the Civic Handbook is made (and the CTC search facility does not locate it).

Therefore, under FoI leglisation, I request a PDF copy of the current "Civic Handbook" (in other words, the one extant on 13March2003). To avoid ambiguity, this is that version referred to in the aforementioned Agenda Item 11 and Minute 359 which is about to be updated.

I submit that, in order for full transparency, I would be satisfied for this FoI request to be formally completed by placing a PDF copy of this document (and, of course, it's update) in the Policy Document section of the CTC website. This would be in accord with the general CTC Freedom Of Information Policy (section 5: Policy Statements to be available on the CTC Website) which the requester happily accepts.
