Citizenship deprivations for last 10 years

Colin Yeo made this Freedom of Information request to Home Office

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Home Office,

I would be grateful if you could release information on decisions to deprive a person of their British citizenship. This information does not appear to be included in the normal quarterly or annual statistics.

I would like to know:

1. How many deprivation decisions have been made each year for the last 10 years?

2. If possible I would also like to see the breakdown of reasons for deprivation for those numbers over the last 10 years.

Yours faithfully,

Colin Yeo
