CIPFA Revenue Collection Statistics

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Conwy County Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Conwy Council,

For each year that the Council has submitted them, I require a copy of the Revenue Collection Statistics questionnaire for Council Tax and NNDR as submitted to the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA).

These should be on file, easy to locate and quick to provide, so I do not expect to be deliberately made to wait the maximum 20 days allowed by Law to receive this information.

Dear Info Regs Unit/Uned.Rheol-Gwyb,

It would be sufficient to post electronic copies of the documents on this website, as you have done previously with other requests from myself and other requesters. This is a much "greener" alternative than producing paper copies, and also should not involve any cost.

Yours,

Steve Hunt

Dear Hunt

Thank you for your email below.

It is not possible to post electronic copies of the documents due to the size and the need to redact some personally identifiable information which can only be achieved by providing the information in hard copy.

Please advise if you would wish to avail yourself of any of the 3 options previously communicated to you on the 8/7/2010.

Yours sincerely

Dear Info Regs Unit,

The FOI Act provides for me to make reasonable request as to the form in which I require information to be delivered. Therefore please provide electronic copies as previously requested. If you can put the documents on a photocopier to produce hard copy, it follows that you can also put the same documents on a scanner to provide them in electronic form. Other UK Councils have had no problem at all providing electronic copies of CIPFA stats, so I fail to see why you are having so much difficulty.

Conwy Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Conwy Council's handling of my FOI request 'CIPFA Revenue Collection Statistics'.

You have failed to provide the information requested, which is an ELECTRONIC copy of your CIPFA Collection Statistics. Many other Councils in the UK have no problem at all providing this information in electronic form, and the FOIA provides for me to request in what form I require the information sought to be delivered.

If you fail to comply with my request, then yet another formal complaint will be made to the Information Commissioner - we should hopefully soon have enough complaints to force the ICO into taking legal action against you for your continual, habitual, breaking of the Law.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

rubbish from the council

i have been specialising in this data collecting in relation to council tax and nndr rates.

The copys of the documents that they send to CIPFA are small enough EXCEL files to post on here, i have had them from council befroe.

Arguing like this usulay meens there is something they do not want to show.

The Council have a LOT they wish to hide - just the tiniest of leaks that have filtered out to me are causing them a LOT of grief.

KPMG (The external auditors) refuse to sign off the 2009/10 audit as we speak, and talks with them are ongoing. More evidence will be presented to them in due course and when the audit report finally comes out, it will make very interesting reading indeed.

CCBC is totally and utterly corrupt - and they have now been caught out. The BRIBERY case (documents on this website) is a prime example of what these people get up to behind closed doors.

Their own fault they are in this mess, they wouldn't leave me alone, and now they will pay the consequences.

Just wait to see what is in store for them in the 2010/11 audit!!

More naming... more shaming... the quest continues....
