Brown, Steven, South Ribble Borough Council

EIR Request No.2086

Dear Ms Graber,

I refer to your recent Freedom for Information request when you asked a
number of questions in relation to the car park at the Churchill Way
Retail Park, Leyland. I shall answer the questions in the order they were
asked:-

What allowance was given for parking on the site when the initial planning
permission was granted?

The most recent planning permission resulted in the following parking
provision across the whole car park:

166 spaces(including 17 mobility)

8 motorcycle spaces

5 cycle spaces

There were no restrictions imposed in terms of time limits.

Has permission subsequently been requested for any changes to time limits?

A request has not been made.

Has permission subsequently been given for any changes to the time limits?

No as above.

Has planning permission been granted for the Automatic Number plate
Recognition cameras that have been installed?

Planning permission has not been granted. The Councils Enforcement Officer
has made contact with the relevant party and requested the submission of a
planning application.

Does the rateable value of the property now reflect the fact that income
is generated from the car park?

No – this not a relevant consideration.

I trust this answers your questions?

Yours sincerely

Steven Brown
