I refer to your request for information dated: 9 November 2024
You asked for:
1. Please provide copies of any correspondence/evidence relating to
public maintenance (present or historic) of Church Lane in
Hindolveston, including the sections that are currently listed as
RB11/12.
Our response:
Please find attached the information held with regard to highway defects
and maintenance reported for Church Lane. These are public raised defects
that are then inspected by a technician/engineer/inspector and are the
records held on the Councils current system, which was implemented in
2016.
The only other data held concerns the 1974 road schedules for Church Lane
Hindolveston and is attached for your information. The road measures 0.18
of a mile, which is the length of the pink centreline on the map attached.
No other information is held with regard to public maintenance.

Some information has been redacted under Regulation 13(1) of the
Regulations which state that the Council is not required to disclose the
personal information of any other individual if disclosure would
contravene the rights of the individuals to whom the data relates.
The redacted data comprises of the following:
• Names of staff below tier 3 in the organisation.
• Personal data of members of the public corresponding with the Council.
The exemption applies because:
• Staff below tier 3 have a reasonable expectation that their details
will not be disclosed into the public domain.
• Members of the public corresponding with Norfolk County Council have a
reasonable expectation that their correspondence would remain
confidential.

Our response:
The earliest List of Streets located is from 2003, and that includes
14112/20 Church Lane, Hindolveston.
The Public Right of Ways (PROW) were included on the List of Streets
around 2015/16.
Both these lists are attached for your information. No further
information is held.
3. Additionally, please provide copies of any correspondence/evidence
relating to public use (both current and historic) of Church Lane
(including the user type e.g. pedestrian vs MPV, and the frequency of
said user types).
Our response:
No information is held with regard to public use, as detailed within your
request.
